Y�NTEM ve GERE�LER: Ara�t�rma tan�mlay�c� tiptedir. Mezuniyet �ncesi 112 ��renci ile ara�t�rmaya ba�lanm��, mezuniyetten bir y�l sonra kat�l�mc�lar�n 40��na ula��lm��t�r. Ara�t�rmada bu 40 ki�inin mezuniyet �ncesi ve sonras� verileri de�erlendirilmi�tir. Veri toplama arac� olarak, �Mesleki Benlik Sayg�s� �l�e�i� kullan�lm��t�r. Bu �l�ek �rneklem grubuna mezuniyet �ncesi ve mezuniyetten bir y�l sonra olmak �zere iki kez uygulanm��t�r. Ara�t�rma verilerinin analizinde; nicel de�i�kenlerin gruplar aras� kar��la�t�rmas�nda Mann-Whitney U testi, kategorik de�i�kenler aras�ndaki ili�kilerde Pearson Chi-square ve Fisher� Exact testleri kullan�lm��t�r.
BULGULAR: Bu �al��mada kat�l�mc�lar�n Mesleki Benlik Sayg�s� �l�e�i�nden ald�klar� puanlar incelendi�inde; Hem�irelik B�l�m��nde okuyan son s�n�f ��rencilerin puan ortalamas� 114,72�17,32, Sosyal Hizmet B�l�m��nde okuyan ��rencilerin puan ortalamas� 121,18�17,63 olarak belirlenmi�tir. Hem�irelik b�l�m� ve sosyal hizmet b�l�m� ��rencilerinin mezuniyetten bir y�l sonra �l��len mesleki benlik sayg�s� �l�ek puanlar� mezuniyet �ncesi �l��len de�erlerinden anlaml� d�zeyde d��kt�r (p<0,001, p<0,001).
TARTI�MA ve SONU�: Hem�ire ve sosyal �al��mac�lar�n mesleki benlik sayg�lar�n�n mezuniyet �ncesi ve sonras� de�i�imlerini de�erlendirebilmek amac�yla yap�lan bu �al��mada, hem�ire ve sosyal �al��mac�lar�n mezuniyet sonras� mesleki benlik sayg�lar�nda d��me oldu�u g�r�lm��t�r.

INTRODUCTION: The research was conducted in order to evaluate the alterations in vocational self-esteem of nurses and social workers before and after graduation.
METHODS: The study is descriptive. The research began with 112 students before graduation and 40 of the participants were reached after their graduation. In the study, the pre-and-post graduate data of these 40 students were evaluated. The �Professional Self-Esteem Scale� was used as a data collection means. The scale was carried out to the students twice; first before graduation and second, after one year of their graduation. While analyzing the research data; the Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare quantitative variables between groups and Pearson Chi-square and Fisher� Exact for the relations between categorical variables.
RESULTS: In this study when the participants� scores of Professional Self-Esteem Scale were analyzed; the average score was determined as 114,72�17,32 for the students in the Nursing Department and 121,18�17,63 for the students in Social Work Department. After graduation score of Nursing and Social Work Department students from the Professional Self-Esteem Scale was significantly lower than the score measured before graduation (p<0,001, p<0,001). The Professional Self-Esteem Scale score of Nursing and Social Work Department students were significantly lower one year after graduation than those measured before graduation (p<0,001, p<0,001).
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: In this study, which was carried out to evaluate the alterations in the pre-and post-graduate professional self-esteem of nurses and social workers, it has been examined that the professional self-esteem of nurses and social workers decline after graduation.
