Aim: The aim of this study was to examine the factors affecting nurses' attitudes towards the risks they face in the work environment.
Method: This descriptive study was conducted with 287 nurses working in a public, university and private hospital. Data were collected using the "Personal Information Form" and the “Nurses’ Attitudes Toward Work Environment Risks Scale”.
Results: It was found that nurses had positive attitudes towards preventing risks in the work environment. Analyses showed that nurses' attitudes towards risks were affected by the type of institution, years of working in the profession, affected, working schedule and receive training on general risks in the organization and risks specific to the unit they work in.
Conclusion: The results of this study show that nurses' attitudes towards risk prevention in the work environment are affected by individual and organizational factors. Keywords: Nurse, risk, work environment, attitude

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, hemşirelerin çalışma ortamında karşılaştıkları risklere yönelik tutumlarını etkileyen etmenlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışma bir kamu, üniversite ve özel hastanede çalışan 287 hemşire ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Hemşirelerin Çalışma Ortamındaki Risklere Karşı Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır.
Bulgular: Hemşirelerin çalışma ortamındaki riskleri önlemeye yönelik olumlu tutuma sahip oldukları bulunmuştur. Yapılan analizler hemşirelerin riske yönelik tutumlarının kurum türü, meslekte çalışma yılı, etkilenme, çalışma düzeni, kurum bazında ve çalışılan birime özgü risklere ilişkin eğitim alma durumlarından etkilendiğini göstermiştir.
Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, hemşirelerin çalışma ortamında risk önlemeye yönelik tutumlarının bireysel ve örgütsel etmenlerden etkilendiğini göstermektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Hemşire, risk, çalışma ortamı, tutum
